Delivering a baby in a car on the way to the hospital is probably many parents' worst nightmare, but these folks sure made it look easy.

In a video posted on YouTube Thursday, a woman gives birth to a baby boy in a car on the way to a birth center in Houston, Texas. The father, who's driving, films it all on a GoPro camera on his lap.

WARNING: The following video shows childbirth and may bother some viewers.

The couple — Jonathan and Lesia Pettijohn — were stuck in traffic for more than an hour this week when her water broke, forcing her to self-deliver their newborn son, Josiah.

Amazingly enough, both parents take this frightening experience exceptionally well, with Jonathan calmly giving Lesia instructions throughout the process.

"He's breathing, if he's crying, he's breathing, but hold him upside down, babe. Hold him upside down and pat him on the booty," he says after the baby is delivered.

Near the end of the video, the dad jokes "So I wonder if we still have to pay for using birth center?"

When they got to the birthing center, the staff was amazed that Lesia had self-delivered a healthy, 10-pound baby boy in the minivan.

Little Josiah — the couple's third child — is fine, despite the unusual circumstances of his birth.
