Watch the First "Furious 7" Trailer, Featuring Paul Walker
It’s here -- the official trailer for “Furious 7,” starring the late Paul Walker.
Universal Pictures has released the first full-length trailer for “Furious 7,” the seventh installment in the successful “Fast and Furious” franchise. More than 8 million people have viewed the action-packed video clip since it was posted online Saturday.
There are no signs in the trailer of Australian rapper Iggy Azalea who features in a small role. The major new female addition to the cast is English actress Nathalie Emmanuel, who "Game of Thrones" fans will know as Khaleesi's right-hand woman, Missendei.
The trailer also shows Jason Statham as Ian Shaw and new addition to the Furious family Kurt Russell.
In a moment that should delight fans, the trailer also shows The Rock literally tearing off an arm cast.
“Furious 7” was scheduled for release this July but delayed after the death of Walker on November 30, 2013. To finish this latest "Fast" movie, Walker's brothers Caleb and Cody stepped in and joined the cast to film scenes their brother hadn't yet done.
The film will pick up where the last left off with Ian Shaw (Statham) seeking revenge against Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his crew for the death of his brother.
"Furious 7" is set to bow April 3, 2015.
