When it comes to underwear, women usually have all the fun.

While ladies can choose from different colours, cuts and materials, men are limited to fairly generic boxers that are, more often than not, white, black or grey.

But Australian lingerie brand HommeMystere is aiming to change all that by offering sexy underwear specifically designed for men.

The company, who began trading in 2012, have now launched an online store for their knickers, which they hope will help those men wanting to wear more 'feminine' underwear find what they're looking for without having to shop in women's stores.

"While our beautiful pieces look and feel like women's lingerie, they've been designed and tailored to fit the male body perfectly", the company said.

The new online store was developed to meet an increasing demand, and the company explains that men's lingerie sits in an undefined territory deemed 'not exciting enough' for adult stores and 'too confronting' for mainstream retail stores.

HommeMystere also say they are not concerned if customers are "gay, straight, vegetarian, republican, anglican, martian or any other persuasion," they just want to provide the option of luxury underwear to all men.

At least HommeMystere will have cornered the market in the unlikely event that life is discovered on Mars. It is truly an exciting time to be alive.
