No pants? No problem.

A woman eyes a pantless neighbor in Romania during the 14th annual No Pants Subway Ride.

It's the 14th year people have dropped their pants on the subway and yet it still surprises fellow riders every time.

The 14th annual No Pants Subway Ride took place on Jan. 11, and people weren't shy to join in.

The yearly tradition was started by comedy group Improv Everywhere in 2002 in New York City, and has since grown into a global tradition. Last year, over 25 countries saw participants flood subway cars and happily shed their trousers.

Anyone was welcome to join the annual tradition. All that organizers asked was that you were willing to take your pants off and “keep a straight face about it.”

Here are just a few of the cities that participated.

New York City

Barcelona

Toronto

Warsaw

Bucharest

Prague

London

Bangalore

Hamburg

Mexico City
