Miss Canada Wore 10 Hockey Sticks at Miss Universe 2015 Pageant
10 hockey sticks for angel wings? A Stanley Cup tiara? A goalie net skirt? Elbow pads? Boots that look like skates? What is happening here?!!!
The contestants of Miss Universe 2015 represented their countries by wearing the most amazing national costumes during a pageant in Miami.
The 88 beaming beauties all vying for the title wore outrageous costumes featuring wings, feathers, and even genie lamps.
In her attempt to pursue the Universe’s crown, Miss Universe Canada Chanel Beckenlehner of Caledon, Ontario has certainly captured the world’s attention as her flamboyant, hockey-inspired costume has gone completely viral.
The 26-year-old strutted out on the stage Wednesday night wearing a costume that may have very well been designed by Lady Gaga. Altogether, the costume is said to have a weight of 25 pounds.
Images of Beckenlehner’s costume blanketed Twitter on Thursday, with a mix of praise and pans for the outfit.
