21 Allegedly Closeted Stars Who Keep On Denying They're Gay
Certain stars have had gay rumors follow them for years.
You probably know that SOUTH PARK did an episode about Tom Cruise coming out of the closet, or that John Travolta insists on male masseurs, for example.
Are any of the following stars really gay and will they ever come out? Place your bets. Keep reading.
1. Tom Cruise
Gay rumors have followed Tom Cruise for years, but the actor always fights back. Cruise sued a gay porn actor who claimed they had an affair as well as a publisher who claimed to have a tape of Cruise engaged in homosexual acts.
The Mission: Impossible actor won both lawsuits, but that didn't stop South Park from airing an episode in which the town pleads with the actor to come out of the closet.
2. John Travolta
He may have a wife and kids but that doesn’t mean that he’s entirely straight.
He’s appeared in several musicals (including dressing as a woman and singing a love song with Christopher Walken) and has been the subject of gay rumors for almost as long as he’s been in the public eye.
The recent round of rumors began when a number of male massage therapists came out to say that John Travolta had hit on them.
The Twilight star may just be inching toward coming out as gay, or at least he’s not trying very hard to hide it.
He has been seen frequenting popular gay bars in Hollywood and he tweeted a picture of himself with an openly gay model. The caption? “I’ve never been more attracted to someone in my life.”
He may not have explicitly said he’s gay but all signs point to it being a good possibility.
4. Vin Diesel
Perhaps the biggest indicator that Vin Diesel doesn’t want to come out as gay is that when faced with the rumors he doesn’t deny them.
He simply says that he’s not going to put it out there on a magazine. He follows a tough guy code of silence which he got from the likes of Harrison Ford and Al Pacino.
5. James Franco
James Franco has come out to say that gay rumors have surrounded him since high school. When faced with them now he doesn’t deny them. He simply says that he doesn’t define himself by labels.
Although he is sympathetic gay people as judged by his portrayal of gay rights activist Scott Smith in the homoerotic film Interior. Leather Bar in 2014.
