Have you ever found yourself listening to a song on the radio and thinking “damn that’s a TUNE.”

Then, when you are at the gym, pretending to exercise and the music video comes on for that song, you fall off the treadmill because the video is so damn awful.

If you have experienced that, then maybe it was one of these 14 music videos that ultimately ruined the song and your day.

1. Miley Cyrus – “Wrecking Ball“.

She came in like a wrecking ball and really ruined her song.

“Wrecking Ball” has all of the emotions in it and then Miley got naked and licked a hammer. It was unnecessary and took away the lyrical meaning. She parodied herself in her own video. Such a shame.

Miley is still the best, she just needs to not lick so many inanimate objects, that’s all.

2. Drake – “Hotline Bling“.

Why, why did he have to dance? What Drake should have done was to just use a video of himself singing the song live. It is way better and the crowd goes nuts.

Instead he chose to do a wee jig that the internet took the piss out of for months and months. It’s still going.

3. Katy Perry – “Roar“.

This song was about empowering people. In the video, Katy Perry’s plane crashed in the jungle and in no time, there she was, wearing leaves to cover her va-jay-jay.

Maybe next time Katy should stick to a video similar to Sara Bareilles’ “Brave”. In fact, “Roar” kind of sounds like “Brave”. Hmm wonder if anyone has ever noticed that before.

4. Rihanna – “Work“.

“Werk werk werk werk werk dfjnjknsfjd”. The song is made up of jibberish and the video is deeply upsetting.

It just consists of Rihanna parting her legs in the club and riding up on Drake’s downstairs area.

The lazy and confusing lyrics are almost as lazy and confusing as her dance moves.
