Mystery is always something that people enjoy. Everyone and anyone feels like they could come up with their own assumptions or theories of how, what or when something happened, and it could not be proven whether it is wrong or right. Find out the stories and conspiracies behind these photos.
1. Australian Sea Monster
This photo of the "Hook Island Monster" was snapped by French photographer Robert Le Serrec off the coast of Queensland, Australia in 1964. Years later, no one's really sure what that tadpole-shaped thing is.
This photo brings up so many questions...are those self-portraits? Why does he look so distraught? Was this photo taken on the set of a Die Antwoord music video...?
3. Cooper Family Photo
This photo was taken sometime in the 1950s of the Cooper family, who had just moved into their new house in Texas. The story goes that once the photo was developed, this creepy view of a body hanging from the ceiling became visible.
4. The Ghost Of Freddy Jackson
Freddy Jackson was an airman mechanic who was killed when he accidentally walked into a plane propeller in 1919. This photo was taken two days later, on the day of Jackson's funeral.
The creepy part: once the photo was developed, the men in Jackson's squadron were able to identify his ghostly face peering out from behind one of his fellow men (in the top row, fourth from the left).
